THE LINEDANCE IS A CNC (COMPUTER NUMERICALLY CONTROLLED) HOTWIRE FOAM CUTTING MACHINE. THE LINEDANCE USES A COMPUTER TO CONTROL PRECISION STEPPER MOTORS AND CREATE COMPLEX SHAPES FROM ORDINARY STYROFOAM. THIS ALLOWS UNLIMITED REPEATABILITY AND AMAZING ACCURACY.
BECAUSE OF THE LINEDANCE'S UNIQUE CONSTRUCTION, THE MACHINE CAN BE SET UP TO CUT WING SPANS OF ANY LENGTH. YOU ARE LIMITED ONLY BY YOUR ABILITY TO KEEP TENSION ON YOUR CUTTING BOW (FOR MOST PRACTICAL PURPOSE WING PANELS OVER 6 FOOT IN LENGTH SHOULD BE CUT IN MULTIPLE SECTIONS). QUARTER SCALE WING PANELS ARE NO PROBLEM.

Quax 3.5 is powerful software for CNC foam cutting applications. Quax 3.5 will make your life easier when cutting foam wings.. It features a Window oriented graphical user interface, yet must be run in a DOS environment because multitasking would cause disturbances in the output to the controller.
Quax 3.5 supports a variety of data formats. It will import
and export files to several popular programs. Quax 3.5 will also let you input
your own airfoil coordinates as well as any of the vast library of included
airfoil coordinates.

Quax 3.5 can also create a triple tapered wings planform, popular in the current generation of competition sailplanes. All three panels can be laid out as a single file for ease of use. simple place your foam on the cutter and cut away. Furthermore, Quax 3.5 will serial cut several wing cores from a single piece of foam automatically. This feature really helps in production work.

Escalypson Lite is a program capable of cutting free forms in foam. Escalypson Lite will have you cutting fuselage formers, drop tanks, engine nacelles etc. E.L. will also cut letters and logos for sign making, decorative porch pillers for construction. The possibiltites are limited only by your imagination.
Escalypson Lite features a sophisticated array of tools to let you easily define complex shapes. Lines, polylines, bevier curves, arcs, circles are all quickly and easily created. Simply drag and drop the desired tool onto the coordinates table, enter a few numbers and the part is created. The part can also be rotated , moved, shrunken, enlarged or mirrored vertically or horizontally. A special preview window lets you view the part in 3D.
The cut window allows you to cut multiple parts for production work. You can preview and trouble shoot the cut before committing the part to foam. Escalypson Lite will allow you to import files using the Hewlett Packard plotter format HPGL. HPGL files can be imported into the program and then manipulated to produce the desired size and orientation. This feature allows you to create a part using 3rd party software such as Corel Draw, Autocad and many other drawing programs which support HPGL.
